I currently work in a combined role as staff nurse and as part of the Quality Improvement Team. Skills I have gained as part of the home health team includes: comprehensive physical, functional, emotional, and nursing diagnosis related assessment skills and interventions ,wound care, IV therapy, ostomy care, venipuncture, coordination of care among disciplines, and development of a outcome based plan of care.
As part of the QI team, my responsibilities include chart audits and staff education related to OASIS data collection, OBQI, Adverse Events, JCAHO, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.

Responsibilities included direct supervision of home health RNs, PTs, OTs, STs, HHAs, Medical Records, Supply Specialists, Referral Center Specialists. Managed budget for office annually. Also participated on team for marketing home health services to physicians and hospitals.
